Crazy About Our Kids
My wife and our 2 boys have been participating in Vacation Bible School Adventure Week all week at our church. My wife’s twin sister and her 4 girls even drove in from out of town for the 2nd summer in a row to join the fun.
I haven’t been able to see first hand what goes on during Adventure Week, but from what I hear it is like VBS from when I was a kid X 10000. VBS on steroids!
It is my favorite thing about our church. Our church is crazy about our kids.

I wanted to share one thing that really touched my heart this week. We were learning how Jesus is the light of the world. The upper hall got to go to the main auditorium with all the big kids to experience worship and the lesson by Pastor Rob. The whole place was filled with kids and glow sticks! At the end, they turned the lights down low and began singing “Here I am to Worship”. The worship leader stopped singing and all you could hear were hundreds of young kids signing praise to God. It was AWESOME!
